A few posts back we reviewed Orange Joomla Websites and today we’ll take a look at Orange Joomla Templates, but first, let’s learn more about the orange color.

Orange color is a combination of red and yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and happiness. Orange represents success, warmth and energy. It stimulates creative thinking and enthusiasm. As orange is also a citrus color, it can denote good health and a positive attitude. Orange is the color of autumn leaves, pumpkins and Halloween. Yes, Halloween has already come and gone, but autumn is still here.

When it comes to web design, this color has its own power. If you want your Joomla website to get noticed without screaming, consider orange — it draws attention, but it’s not as aggressive as red color. If to speak about the colors that work well with orange, these are black, white and green.

And now, when we have described the meaning of orange, we encourage you to see Orange Joomla Templates. These templates look very bright and fresh and they may help you build impressive Joomla websites and blogs. So, take a few minutes to check them out! Please remember, the first 5 Orange Joomla Templates are premium ones and the rest of them are free to download and use.

2010 Open Source CMS Survey is now open and you are welcome to enter it. The survey aims to discover what Content Management Systems are used and why. There are 20 questions in the survey and your answers are very important for the final results. After all, why don’t we show how many people are happy using Joomla?

Take a brief look at the types of questions that you’ll be expected to answer:

  • Do you prefer to use open source solutions or commercial ones?
  • What factors determine which open source system you will use? Is it the availability of commercial support, the reputation of the product or the quality of documentation?
  • What features do you consider when choosing the best CMS for your website or blog?
  • Would you recommend the CMS you use to others?
  • How much did it cost you to deploy your current CMS and how much do you spend annually for the maintenance and support of the system?

Also, you’ll be asked to specify the Content Management System you use and rate it. This way, the survey managers will know what the most often used CMS is.

Please keep in mind, it will take you just a few minutes to complete the survey and the final results from this survey will be released in the beginning of December. To learn the results you’ll have to search for the 2010 Open Source CMS Market Share Report.
